The Phenomenon of Presence
In 2055, Jessica's estranged mother, Nicole, has escaped into the virtual world of "Presence" to ease the symptoms of her debilitating dementia. When Jessica decides to find her and bring her back to the real world, she starts to realise that "Presence" has become her mother's only viable reality.
PoP explores the ongoing relationship between technology, psychology and neurological conditions such as dementia. In the near future, a virtual world called "Presence" has the unexpected side effect of easing the symptoms of certain forms of dementia. Across the globe millions of sufferers escape into this world, leaving their loved ones behind. PoP asks the question: “If you lost your loved ones to a virtual world you knew would help their condition, would you let them go forever?”

Testimonials
Simon Brooks
Working with the guys at Black Milk was a pleasure from start to finish.
The location was ideal for our needs and Andy and Olly were really accommodating from the initial meetings, right through the shoot itself.
They were always willing to help make sure the location was exactly how we wanted it and were on hand to support us during the shoot.
I wouldn't hesitate to use Blackmilk as a location in the future if the script required.
Thanks again to the Black Milk family! Simon Brooks - Director / Producer
